My intent in all sessions is to address stress, pain, and tension through deep listening and slow, focused, meditative treatment for lasting change. I’ve have had success in helping to manage issues with chronic headaches, nerve impingement, depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
I use a blend of Reiki, Swedish, and Myofascial release techniques to relax the body and promote self-healing. My work is not suited for people looking for a vigorous deep tissue or sports massage but is well suited for those interested in deep rest, freed tension, and better mind-body connection.
My journey in bodywork began 3 years ago when my meditation practice guided me to study Reiki, an energy healing technique. Afterwards, I wanted to continue training in health-promoting modalities.
Having used self-massage and yoga to recover from a broken wrist in the past, Massage Therapy seemed like the natural step forward.
